The atmosphere was definitely like speakeasy. The drinks were handmade and amazing and the live music was nice to listen to. The service staff were fast and friendly and the food looked great! (We just ordered drinks)

Skulls pulls it off yet again. Finally got an opportunity to try the brunch and it was amazing as usual! Our table tried a variety of dishes and drinks, not one missed a beat. I loved that the grits were grit cakes and the sauce was amazing! Only took off one star bc our server was not as attentive as usual. Would love to see a burlesque show at brunch, but the gospel-ish music was a nice touch. We always carve out time on our visit to visit and will definitely be back.

11/10--What an unforgettable experience! The live jazz sets the perfect mood, while the food is nothing short of incredible. This classic gem combines timeless charm with delicious cuisine, fine spirits, and the perfect ambiance. The nostalgic décor and soft, intimate lighting transport you to old Nashville. The prime rib is a must-try--generous in size and absolutely delicious. A true Nashville treasure!

We had the exciting opportunity to visit this Nashville landmark a few months ago - and our overall dining experience was unlike any other we've had in Music City. From the historic decor to the location on Printers Alley ... we had a lot of fun at Skull's. My younger sister was visiting town, and she was really looking forward to seeing some live jazz. We're so grateful that Skull's allows guests under 21 to dine here with a guardian until 9 PM. You do have to plan ahead to snag a reservation - they're only available two weeks in advance, and they go quickly! However, I will say that I much prefer Skull's system as opposed to other local spots that make it impossible to get a table unless you're planning months in advance. In our reservation, my husband requested a table near the stage ... and oh my, did the Skull's team deliver! We had the best seats in the house - literally right beside the musicians. Perry Danos and Dianne Sherrill performed that night - and they were both fabulous! They did a great job connecting with the room, and definitely delivered on the "underground jazz club" vibes that echo throughout Skull's. We opted for a small plates, sharing style meal - and I think the Lobster Bisque was our favorite bite of the night. The rest of our meal wasn't the most memorable - but I wouldn't let that stop me from returning. I also have to shout out Skull's espresso martini - it was a perfectly mixed coffee cocktail.

Located in Printers Alley, the Skull Room is a favorite spot to dine & listen to live music. Make a reservation to secure your seats! Dinner was tops (I loved my prime rib empanada) and music just wonderful jazz! Nashville is full of gems, this indeed is one of them.
